Houdini Experiment: Environment 001


While learning Houdini I had ventured into building my own setup using techniques I had learned. I was able to create this entire piece with custom controls to adjust the spike coverage, density of spikes, color range for the spikes, overall scale of the room, the density and coverage of the blue grid lines, and the ceiling light count and inset dimensions. This was all rendered with Mantra, and texture based emission was used on the spikes. Final glow, and color adjustments made in After Effects.
